Not to take this thread off topic, but just out of curiousity, where do you guys see cars like this going in say, 20-30 years. The reason I ask is because I am 31 years old and while I appreciate cars like this, I would never want to own one let alone pay like a million bucks for one. Take the kids that are like 20 years old now. Do you think they are going to care about a Deusenberg, Cord, or Bugatti? Muscle cars, maybe. Cars like the former, I don't know.

there is a saying I heard a used car dealer say one time...
"there is an a** for every seat" I realize that many of the antique and classic cars sold are bought by persons that lived that era and are "reliving" the experience, but I doubt that's the case with the potential purchaser of this vehicle...the person would have to be pretty old to have purchased this car when new... Like any other collectible such as art, antiques, etc., I'm sure there will be people forever that appreciate these cars also...They aint making any more of them!!!There will always be collectors that have funny money and if you have a collection of cars of this type and era, this is a must have!! Similar to a person who has a collection of the best "supercars" must include cars like a ZL-1 Camaro or a Hemi cuda... jmo |

Just like the tri-five chevys. When i first started attending shows they were everywhere. Usually seperate classes just for those cars. Now at a typical show of 200 cars you might run across 3 or 4. Time keeps moving along and soon there will be garages opening with a restored 57 completed in 1987 that has been sitting for 30 years.
