These next images are of the fabled 1968 Aerocoupe Camaro. This vehicle also based on the Camaro Coupe body line features a retractable roof similar to those used on the Sun Coupe produced by Buick in the early 70’s but is full width rather than the sunroof type Sun Coupe.

Picture #1 is of the AeroCoupe loaded on a pallet ready for assembly.



Picture #2 is of the interior of the vehicle after assembly detailing the mechanism that opens the roof.




Picture #3 Shows the Aerocoupe finished with roof closed outside.

Nice photos!! in 1970 Chevy did a cool one off show car for Glenn Campbell that had that roof treatment.

Appears to be a tri-pod mount with swivel handle and his right hand. Great photos by the way and thanks for posting.
