Good catch q-b. Those pics are definitely in The Chev Connections parking lot. I never noticed that when I got that e-mail last week. It probably already has a repro trim tag on it!

The car was at the Phoenix Kruse auction this past January. I don't remember if it sold or what it bid to; I prefer cars with more horsepower than my lawn mower. I'm sure we will see it again next January(in Scottsdale) with an incredible story, and a world record price for a 50 Chevy that was "well bought"

...and knowing Kruse's modus operendi, it was probably promoted in their auction literature accompanied by a photo of a 1977 Mustang II King Cobra
