Cool stuff Albert. My experience has been the retractor bolts have always been painted/plated that color which coincidently matches the paint on that car. I could be wrong but I always see them like that.
Were the oval drain plugs in the floor pan covered with primer and then paint or just paint overspray? You might want to take some close ups of how the carpeting has been cut around the seat mounting area as this has been a common question of people on here. Thanks for sharing.

Al, Thanks for the great pic's. It is interesting that your car has smooth rear ash trays. My Chevelle which is an 06D car also has the same. I was told that the ash trays in my car are incorrect.

My late 06 Atl car had ribbed as well..these "appear" to be original, but it is a easy swap..my 04 Oshowa built Beaumont..ribbed and its painfully original too!

Rick, A fellow member told me that all 69's had ribbed rear ash trays. The smooth were in my car when I got it in 1987. I was just wondering if maybe they used both at some time in 1969. I also have an early Chevelle that has ribbed.
