I love Military History especially WW2 History and love to research any first hand accounts of service men that go above and beyond the call of duty. The stories of the US soldiers that receive the Congregational Medal of Honor really get my blood boiling and I find it extremely exciting what causes men/boys to do such unselfish deeds...

Mark's post above reminded me just last week I was telling my wife about Eddie Albert (yes of Green Acres) when we saw him on a TV show..
Although some here do, most don't know how Eddie deserves far more fame for service to his country in WW2 than acting!.
Eddie unselfishly and repeatedly went beyond the call of duty when others wouldn't and single handedly saved something like 50 men!.

RIP Eddie

"Hitler's Suppressed and Still-Secret Weapons, Science and Technology" by Henry Stevens.

Great book for anyone interested in Nazi technology during WWII. Touches on almost everything. Just finished it.

If you want some real insight into the middle east, I highly recommend "From Time Immemorial" by Joan Peters.

http://www.amazon.com/Time-Immemorial-Ar...ader_0963624202

This book is getting old now, it was first released in 1984.
It should be required reading for anybody who questions Israel and why we should never trust the Arab world.
