and yet another:
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/2132979723.html 1970 CHEVROLET YENKO DUCE, What's Wrong with this Car? - $1350000 (Way Too Much) Date: 2010-12-28, 12:33PM MST Reply to: [email protected] [Errors when replying to ads?] Before you buy this car, ask yourself, why would this $135,000 over priced Nova have a column shift shifter stub still there with the automatic indicator under the speedometer. The shifter is on the floor with an automatic, never made by GM with a bench seat. Yes, they made 3 or 4 speeds with a bench seat but NEVER an automatic. I would pay the extra money to have it professional inspected, if its for real, it should have the correct fuel lines and chamber exhaust system that all Yenkos had. Now, the best part ever.....special Vin, there are only 3 for the Nova 2 door, either the V8, 6 or 4 cylinder motors. It would have looked like this 111270100001 for 4 cyl, 113270100001 for 6 cyl and 114270100001 for the V8. So what is the vin number for this special Yenko? Why is this not in Barretts auction next month.... This sounds like to blue Deuce that was listed on Ebay about a mo. or so ago. It was being sold by what looked like a 4x4 specialty shop. From what I remember it looked like a very nice car.

As discussed before the blue deuce is a Cliff Peck sold car. One of three that went through CP. I have the red one, and the silver one that was dealer traded to Lonsdale(sp?) was wrecked. Car was listed here with the VIN. Seems someone has an ax to grind with somebody. Marlin, I think this owner has 3 of the 4 Gibb color Novas.
