Bruce, I will post some pics when I get to lay my eyes on the Chevelle. He keeps the car in storage away from his home, and he told me when he gets it out of storage he would invite me over.

WOW! Those colors are killer!!!!!

A black interior would seem boring IMHO on that car.

It matches the cars I ordered new too, black with tan interior ...

A couple of weeks ago I was able to purchase a garage kept 1 owner original paint '69 Grand Prix SJ. Its loaded up with all the good stuff... 428/370, leather, wood wheel, tach, gauges etc.... They're only original once!

Love the black on saddle combo!

I am in Shippensburg... would love to know where all these cars are hiding, since Carlisle is only ~25 miles away from home!

This thread brings up a point.... with many owners in their 60s or older, what will happen to the market in 30 years or so? Will guys like me (38 yrs old) see a large number of cars like this for sale at good prices? It seems to me that few people born after 1985 have any interest in '60s muscle.

John, If you go to any local shows around Carlisle you will probably see the black Nova, as far as the others, you will never see them at a show. It takes years with knowing and talking to people to find those other rare cars. Most cars I find, I hear about from talking to someone who tells me his buiddy has this car in his garage. The 1-owner 66 Chevelle, I just heard about it from a co-worker who went to school with this gentleman. Most of these cars you will never see advertised for sale.

Black with tan interior is also my favorite - even for my daily driver! I put a YENKO emblem on it for a while - was afraid someone would snag it though. I do have some spare NOVA emblems.....
