My comment was an observation of the actual facts. No opinion. Sadly, two people died. May they rest in peace.
It is rare that you actually see a photo that so plainly shows just how someone's reaction time is impaired by alcohol, i.e. their ability to judge when to turn. It is displayed so simply by those tire marks in the road. |

with the traction control and ABS I would have to imagine this car was in a sideways slide to put down those tracks
regardless, as stated, no car for the impaired and the "novice" driver

Hard to have compassion when idiots like this often take the lives of innocent people. We can't do enough to keep irresponsible off the road. Remember that the next time you see someone with kids roaming freely in a moving auromobile.

My wife's brother lives in the area not too far from the crash site. When I first heard of the accident, I thought perhaps he may have swerved to avoid a deer as the area is absoutely overrun with them. The photo sure looks like he probably just didn't negotiate the exit ramp. Yikes.
Each time we go to visit her brother, we pass the antique shop on Route 1 that reportely was Jungle Jim Liberman's residence at one time. Before I read the news story about the crash, I too had never heard of the guy. Apparently, "popular culture" has passed me by. . . I'm OK with that . . .

Doesn't mean they're right. All three could be even bigger horses-asses than the guy in the Porsche. Just sayin. |

Really it's more about respect and compassion for the family. Let's not forget they lost a loved one. I doubt they would find some of these comments comforting. My kids are fans of that series of movies and TV shows. I don't care for it myself, but no matter, I still don't like to see/hear things like this. Oh yeah...he was also a veteran of the greatest nation in the world and found a way to make a living after his honorable discharge with his close friends.
