It is a "pool"...the water comes at you via powerful jets and you swim "against the tide". Karen really likes it and uses it as much as possible. One end has seats like a hot tub..with jets, etc. The folding covers were only partially open in those photos...the unit is 8 ft. wide and 14 ft. long and baout 4 1/2 ft. deep.
Here is a photo showing the unit...the deer use it when Karen is finished ![]()

My girlfriends grandparents have a huge junkyard in Louisiana. When she was a kid the grandfather (who had a penchant for unusual pets)raised a baby buck he found. As an adult it became the "attack deer" for the junkyard (a sign on the building stated as much). The only one's who could get close to it were her father and Grandfather. If he tried hooking them, they'd punch it square in the head and the deer would back down. Many people ran afoul of it, and ended up being "tree'd" (standing on top of a stack of cars as the deer circled) most notably a guy just back from Vietnam that after being warned to to go in unescorted stated he wasn't "afraid on any old deer". He wrestled with it for 1/2 an hour before he retreated to a stack of cars. (five hours later they remembered to go look for him).
The deers folly came on the day he decided to not back down to the grandfather (the deer was about seven). The grandfather wrestled with him for ten minutes or so then retreated to a stack. Five hours later (seems to be the deers attention span)the deer wandered off. The grandfather went directly to his house, got a gun, and the deer was mounted on the wall the next month. Funny thing was my girlfriend said the Does he'd capture for the bucks company were much meaner. They would rear back and slash away at you with their front legs/hoofs that she said were sharp. But they'd always end up jumping the cyclone fence at the back of the yard getting away (the buck was too large for that.....)

My Dad and I were looking at a '73 Monte Carlo in the junkyard one time; this car looked like there had been an axe murder inside. Seats were all slashed to heck and there was blood everywhere. We asked the owner what had happened in that car. He said the driver hit a deer and it came in through the windshield. The deer wasn't killed and so it was thrashing around trying to get out (...as was the driver, I suppose...) and it's hooves had sliced the seats all up. They are sharp!.... K

We have a relative who contracted Lyme disease. She went from being a ball of energy to walking with a cane and no chance of getting better.
