I'd buy this one and a LS6 and still have change.

Man is that car ever beautifull, i would take that one over the Black survivor in a heart beat. Great price too for a superb clean car 4 speed as well.

You most likely can not even buy a car and restore it for the $37 K he is asking.

That is a very nice looking 73 Camaro. I see double hump heads. I don't believe they are the correct heads. Which if my assumption is true, it makes me wonder what else is not correct. I would also like to see the trim tag. Great looking car.

The information provided is limited, along with few pictures. From what I can see, the key items (wear) that differentiate ultra low mileage cars from the rest have been replaced. Neat car but too many ?'s and no detailed information. I'd like to see it at the MCACN show.

I'll never forget a friend of mine Roger Theil bought a green LT Z28. Nobody believed it was a Z28. No badging, spoilers or stripes. The only give away were the 15 inch wheels and the Z28 on the trim tag. I was there when he picked it up at Kirk Chevrolet in Newtown Sq.,Pa. Although not and LT1 it still ran very well for an L82.

You are correct the heads are not double hump but have a double pyramid shape which are adjacent to each other. The head # is 330545 with 2.02 intake and 1.6 exh.

This thread answers a lot of questions. An acquaintance in Santa Barbara back in the late '70s had a dark blue, 4-speed '73 Type LT with white interior that was claimed to have the L82 and Z28 wheels as original equipment. There were no Z28 emblems anywhere on it. We all just thought it was an oddball Type LT that somehow got the good motor. Now I know it was an authentic '73 Z.

The guy with the black Z just requested an application to attend this year's Norwood event. I suspect We will get to see the car in detail soon enough.

The silver 73 LT/RS/Z28 for sale in Canada is about as perfect a restoration as you would ever find. Scored very highly at Chevy/Vettefest a number of years ago. Restored by a guy named Rick Griffin in northwestern Indiana, and it was fairly well photo documented on the 2nd Gen Camaro website. Undoubtedly, one of the reasons the car isn't selling is evidenced by many of the comments in this thread....very few people understand the nuances of a 73 LT/RS/Z28. Potential buyers take a look and see no Z28 emblems, no stripes, and think it's just some made-up car.
