Default Need to Find a Museum for a 70 Ram Air IV GTO

Fellas -

I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm active duty Army, moving to Korea in a week. I'll be there for 2 years. Also just finishing up a concours frame off restoration of a 70 Ram Air IV GTO - Pepper Green, black bench interior, M21, 4.33, manual steering and brakes, radio delete. Resto done by Darrell Davidson at Supercar Creations in Norton Ohio (www.supercarcreations.com). The "coming out" party will happen at the GTOAA/POCI "Co-Vention" in Dayton, OH in a few weeks (9-13 July). Darrell has done several Concours Gold cars and that's what we expect here.

I can park the car in a climate controlled storage unit while I'm in Korea, but I like the idea of putting it in a museum so it can be appreciated by the general public.

Anyone have any thoughts/input? I'm thinking that if I go with a reputable museum, I really don't have too much to worry about, right? I'll obviously have insurance, and don't expect the car to be handled, driven, sat in, etc. Does any money need to change hands? I'm assuming that museums won't charge me to keep my car there nor will they pay me to have my car on display, but I'm clueless here.

Also curious about selling the car while it's at a museum. I realize that they don't want to be responsible for showing or selling the car, but everything that I have is for sale for the right price. Can I tell them that if someone wants the car that I'll sell it for a certain amount?

Any recommendations on museums? I've spoken with Floyd Garrett and he's interested in having the car at his museum in Tennessee, but wondering what else is out there.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Scott
