I would buy that 55 in a heartbeat if anyone knows where it is! That is simply bad-ass.

Oh boy.I just got the NCRS report back on my 70 Camaro race car. It was sold fron Hallowell Chevrolet and has this paint scheme under the current white paint. It also has a missing trim tag. My car is mini tubbed and was running moved in leaf springs early on. Something is very odd here.

Rich, you suppose Hallowell Chevrolet had more than one of these cars painted this way? The Witchcraft II car in this discussion appears to have paint & stripes that look most likely original. Definetly looks aged like they've been on the car for several years.

I don't know. I am going to hold back on saying any more until I get in touch with Gharlie and some of the other racers from that area. Who knows, maybe another racer bought a car there and liked the paint job so much that he copied it. At least I have another path to go down.

Hey Rich,

Am I seeing things, it looks like the the Roman numeral 11 in the vintage picture only comes up to the height of the t that's next to it. In the more recent photos, the Roman 11 is the same height as the f ?
