Stephano, its good to know you are looking at the competition that is now likely impacting the camaro. I just googled the hellcat vs the camaro, and it does not look good from the few articles that came up. Now just imagine Mr Norm tweaking a hellcat. If I make it to the belvidere IL mopar show this weekend, I will ask him what his plans are for the Hellcat, to go beyond 700. Chevy guys probably dont know what to do now....(other than order a hellcat, or hope they dont make many of them). http://www.torquenews.com/106/2016-c...cat-challenger |

It's just like the Old'en Days. If you want your Camaro to be quicker/faster you can bring it to us for a conversion.
Our NicKey ZL1 Stage I option is over 700 hp, with a tune and bolt ons. Our Stage II is 850hp and Stage III 1,000 hp. The fact that MOPAR has upped the ante in the current HP wars is very Kool. |

Best bang for the buck. I have no problem with Dealer tuned cars .... But when Chevrolet makes 700 horse out of Camaro from the factory and not have to take it to a tuner for another 20k plus... No Thanks. Shame that that Hellcat is going to stomp on a ZL-1 Camaro... God I hope iam wrong !

I just want to add that the Hellcat's base price appears to be about $5000 dollars more than a ZL1. Nitrous is a lot cheaper than that!!!!
Still a very cool car and definitely adds fuel to the fire with the pony cars!!! Kurt

Well, atleast the pig looks like a 70-71 challenger. I have a 70 challenger, and atleast they got close to the original. That's what I like about dodge, and I am drooling over the hellcat, I would feel proud of that in my garage sitting next to my challenger. Now I have a 69 camaro too, and I cant say the new camaro looks like my car, as much as I try to convince myself. So mopar deserves to win big, as their pig looks like the old pig atleast Chevy might have a lighter car, but its 69 camaro heritage falls way short of what dodge did. Sounds like they really fixed the shortcoming of the interior too, this year on the dodge. factory warranty for 700hp is also very hard to beat. Odds are its pumping out north of that anyways. Man, I am jealous of you guys getting one of these chevy/ford killers. |
