The common number of these cars produced is quoted as 700, but only 500 complete cars and another 200 or so extra warranty engines were produced. This car is to have one of the original replacement engines, but I do not know how to decode it. Can anyone help?

Very neat car! Is that the original ram-rod decal on the fenders?

That is one sexy ride.
I was under the impression the purchaser was given a cost reduction when they deleted items like the radio. Did it really cost 69 dollars not to install? I haven't added up all the items, is it a deduction?

GREAT CAR Stefano!
My dad had a 68 442 new white with blue interior GT stripe and SS1's, it is the first vehicle I ever rode in... home from the hospital as a newborn. We have looked for years for another 68 with the GT stripe, this is the first I have seen.

Thanks.
What a fun car you had to grow up with. We changed out all the drivetrain fluids it appears that the rear was never opened up. Still has the original 3.91 gears in great shape. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
