Yeah, I'll be adding the tires and battery soon.

If it was originally a Southern Ca. car (Tustin is in Ca., so ???) Then it may be the same car. I posted a few years ago on one of the Mopar forums when Dan Vasic was trying to get a T/A 340/6 display going...and noticed that they were trying to get one that color. Someone posted a pic of the car, and I asked the same question that I asked here...and it turns out that the car the guy posted a pic of was the one that I almost bought...as (the "then" owner) had history back to that area, etc.

This would have been around 1979-1980...I went to look at the car off of Yorba Linda Blvd., where the original owner lived. The car was always garaged, and had really low miles then. He was selling because he had a young family-and he wanted $3500 for the car. The car was actually too nice for me to use as a daily driver (would have been my first car) to go to and from college. I remember that it was killing him to sell the car....and that if I bought it....he wanted first "rights" to buy it back if/when I sold it. I ended up passing on it and bought a Nova...LOL

From what I got from the "then" current owner(who posted on the mopar forum)...the original owner had trouble selling the car...and eventually a used car dealer bought it and put it on their lot..with a lot of the parts removed. It went through a few owners until it got to him?

All I know is it's the only one I've ever seen in that color...and I love that color as much now....as I did then.

Congrats on the purchase...it would be cool if it was the same car!
