That's a great L-78 convert. I owned it for a while about 15 years ago and it was a really nice driving car with the M-20. I've got an L-78 Pace Car now (also with M-20) and have always enjoyed 69 Camaro converts. It gets plenty of thumbs up even from non-car people.

M.20 3.55 is a killer driver combo - 3.55 gets you a nice rear gear if you get on the highway for a few minutes but the 2.52 first ratio yields a pretty steep effective first ratio.

A 3.55 M20 combo yields an effective 1st gear ratio of approx the same as a 3.90 rear with a M21-22.

Yes, same combo in my L-78 Pace Car and really makes the car very enjoyable to drive.

My turquoise '69 Z is a factory M20 3.55, a nice combo. I had a '69Z that was a factory M20 4.10, that car popped off the start!
