I agree with the sheet. It looks like it was crumpled up on purpose.I don't think I have ever seen a legit build sheet all crumpled up, then flattened back out.

Why go through the trouble of faking a sheet for a 325 horse auto. car that you already have the P.O.P. for? Or are you thinking all the docs are faked?

Des, I would have to agree. If you have a legit POP and numbers matching drive train, why bother with this extra expense... and bs, if that is so. The zone number and dealer number match the paper work too. Well done if it is all fake. One of the gents that used to work on the assembly line in Baltimore, back in '69, stated at one of our car shows, that build sheets were not to be left in the cars during the assembly process. He said that the plant was very strict in that respect. He did say however, that if a car had a defect that had to be repaired after going through the line, a notation would be left on a build sheet until the repair was done and sometimes that sheet would end up getting stuffed under the dash and staying with the car. He estimates that each car with all the different components would start the assembly process with about 50 build sheets. I believe Al Galdi's 69 COPO had three build sheets and one of them was stuffed behind a kick panel. Essentially, if a Baltimore car got a build sheet, it was left/jammed somewhere that it shouldn't have been. I've got no dog in the fight here. The only way to tell the legitimacy of this car is to go see it. I did get extra photos from the seller and I have to say the car's engine compartment, interior and trunk coincide with what they are advertising. Phil Woj. |

For as clean as that is, with the miles and docs, isn't that a pretty decent deal?
