I believe Al would reserve judgement until he can look at a more detailed picture.

Yes I 100% agree, Al requires certain picture pixels and size.

Lots of very knowledgeable people on this site, but I think Grenning documentation authenticating the pad would go a long way to the cars value, lots of fakes out there as noted.

BTW- Tim, think I met you in Calgary a few yrs ago,

Strongly believe that is a restamp. Need better photos to determine.

Thanks for all the input, I was fortunate that a member shared with me a good photo of same date stamping. I now have what I need for reference.

Default Canuck L71

I believe I have the most extensive data in existence on 1967 Canadian delivered L71s and have 106112 in my files, including engine history, etc. It was delivered by Gorries Downtown Chev-Olds in Toronto.

I remember the Calgary trip well and I remember when we met. That was a wonderful trip.

Al will only authenticate a cylinder case for the owner of the car. He does not conduct pre purchase inspections

Al isn't inexpensive either & you pay the same $$ if he says thumbs up or thumbs down. It's worth it if he says thumbs up though!
