No, I bought my Satellite from a gentleman here in British Columbia. My car was originally sold by a small Mom & Pop dealership in Carnation, WA. I have recently spoken to the original owner who only had the car for a year before letting it go...he said it scared him.

Okay, I'll play. Is your red car an automatic that was in Tacoma, WA 20 years ago before going to BC? My collector friend had a nice red one until he was able to replace it by getting the 1600 mile Citron Gold automatic car out of Pat McGruder's collection.

Nope...mines a 4 speed, it's been in BC for decades.

----Zapper,,,That 1600 mile car went thru Classic Motors in Hinsdale Ill. around the end of the 70s early 80s. Story of how we ended up with it is too long to type, but if you are interested give me a call at 810-420-0431. I may have info that you never knew existed......Bill S

Bill, we'd heard about the Challenger after my friend bought the Satellite. A number of years ago, the last I knew Bob Perkins had somehow ended up with the original Polyglas tires off of it (to sell to his Boss 302/429 clientele) but got connected with the newest owner of the Challenger and proceeded to sell them (for something like $10k) to put back on it. Maybe Perkins still knows where it is, somebody can chat him up at MCACN.

----Thanks, Tom! That fills in a void. That Challenger should absolutely come to MCACN as back when I saw it (circa 1980-82) the car was unbelievable.....Bill S
