Anybody have a complete [or pieces of] a heater delete set up for a '70 GTO? From the sounds of this, the firewall pieces may be easy, but, the dash piece is different. Also need radio delete plate. Any help is appreciated.

rat tuned, even with the C48 heater delete both Camaro's and Chevelle's still kept the vents in the dash. They were part of the Astro ventilation which was std equipment. For some reason the Chevelle assy manual does not show any block off plates for the defroster ducts and the drawings show the duct still mounted in the car...........RatPack...................

I was looking through my 67 Firebird master parts catalog today and noticed that when a car had a heater delete set up the 2 openings on top of the dash had covers (pn 3903478) placed over them, instead of the Y duct work for the windshield defroster.
Also if you had a radio delete the speaker grill on top of the dash had a cover also (pn 3903481).
