Jim,
When you state "released", Did Chevrolet release a dealer memo providing dealers the 9737 COPO code. Or was this info released by the zone reps?

I know we've probably beaten this horse to death, but what was the staus of the "heater delete" option in '69? It seems like I remember reading somewhere that in '69 "the MAN" (this meaning the government!) mandated a defroster on all vehicles sold in the U.S., thus requiring cars to have a heater. So, is my memory correct, or could you get a true "no option" car? It keeps saying "running the codes", but the codes on what? I would LOVE to know what kind of condition they found this car in! Oh, and is anyone familiar with the B-M car in the same issue?

Also, it never states directly anything about paperwork in the article, or at least that I could find. Did I miss something?

Feds mandated a defroster effective 1/1/68 but I understand Canadian cars cut be ordered with heater delete as well as those Camaros assembled in the Phillipines. I looked at this article at the newstand and there seem to be alot of deleted stuff. What about documentation?

Gotta love the fuel gauge in that car, either a bad repro or a bad idea.

Have never seen 9737 on a SS car. There are a lot of items on this car that seem odd. Car looks cool in Fathom Green...BKH

Any tips where to find this mag?? I've checked the grocery stores, gas stations, and Barnes & Noble.
