Hello everyone,
I have come across a set of 074 heads that look to have some cracks in the water jacket areas . Any idea what i should offer this guy for them? I will call my machine shop monday on what it will take to fix these, I just figured the castings were worth something. They are dated 10/69 .Thanx for any help with this question.

Over the past year most sets I have seen are ~$1,500-$1,800 for a fresh set and $1000 - $1200 for a set needing a valve job. I picked up a pair for $600 which were bare and needed new guides, but were not cracked or ported. Based on my experience, I'd say something less than $500.

Thanx COPO,
I was thinking somewhere in that area. He has a package deal that iam trying to come up with. Just being alittle careful cause he is the orig. owner to my COPO. He says he has other things to my car so i want to be a little nicer to him. Thanx again ![]()
