I AGREE with Micky and Dan.. '69 Chevelle is what I wanted when I was a Kid and couldn't have, mostly because of the insurance.

I like them all, but I'm partial to the '69SS,because I had a '66 SS and the front area of the '69SS reminds me of the earlier Chevelle. By '69 the Chevelle SS had finally become an all around performance /handling package like the 442 and GTO--In My Humble Opinion--

All the Chevelle's from 65-72 have merit. But I like 1969 best followed by 1966. But then again thats my take...BKH

The 70 Chevelle SS has to be the best designed car ever as far as appearance goes IMO. If someone has never seen a muscle car asked for someone to show them what one looked like they would be shown a pic of a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 or a 1969 Camaro Z28. That is just my opinion.

I agree completely. I had that thought to, when I drove my friend Hans LS-5 -71 last summer.
But my new ride is a -69, a 396 SS. From the factory it was fathom green with black vinyl top, and a four on the floor. But now it´s red with an automatic. It has made 10.20 on the strip. The last time it had the rearbumper on the ground. All steel, except the hood.

I personally think GM did it right the 1st time.If you like that style you need to rent the dvd SPEED DEMON from blocbuster. That movie has just what your looking for.kinda B rated but fun to watch.I love the way the 70 ss rear pad was.My opinion

I agree what Chevy put out looks the best.. My favorite is the 68 but the 71 follows real close.. I love the 71's just the way they are... But for some reason I don't like the frontend of the 72's much at all. Never did. Had a 71 14 years ago.. guess I'm still partial.
