IF the 350TH is working ok, then I'd use it. A "built" 400TH is WAY too much tranny for your application, and it will only be a power eater. Run the 350TH: you'll free up horsepower and get some money back...

If I were to build a small block tomorrow, this would be the one: CHP's "Impersonator"
This would be an awesome foundation for a street engine with room to add power if desired. ![]()

Well, not sure how the deal is working out . . .
Now the guy says he won't let it go for less than $800. That's still ok, cause I have a guy that'll pay $200 for the TH-400 that's behind the motor, so it'll still only cost me $600. The guy also says that he has "other people interested", which is a load of crap, but what ya gonna do? It's still an awesome deal on a good motor.

The deal is going through! Bought the motor and trans. in combined efforts through a friend and I. I'm paying $600 for the motor, and he's putting up $200 for the trans.
Also, I'm trading a used set of chevy mags for a 4-bbl. edelbrock carb to my friend Jeremy (guy who's buying the trans.). Jeremy is also trading a set of Rallye II's for a beat up old pontiac motor to one of my other friends (has a 68 GTO). The engine isn't at all in bad shape (it's complete), and was running before pulled. He said that he's gonna turn it into a 468 pontiac stroker . . . I wonder how long it'll last? Anyways, I'm sooooooo excited to see this motor in action!
