Default Da Judge's 69 Shelby GT 350...

This is a neat car Mike !!!!Thanks for sharing

This 48,000 mile candy apple red Shelby GT 350 4 speed was purchased new in 69 at John Grappone Ford in Concord, NH. Grappone Ford is still in business in Bow, NH. I am owner number five. Original documents like the Ford invoice, Shelby American Invoice, dealer order and a partial build sheet are still with the car. This car is also listed in the worldwide Shelby American Automobile Club registry. This Shelby has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration. There are over 200 pictures depicting the restoration that shows the car before during and after. These pictures document every paint daub and marking to be sure they were put back on during reassembly. All sheet metal is original this one never had any rust and the spot welds are all crisp and perfect like they were when new. The fiberglass components are also original and have the raised Shelby part numbers on them as the repos do not. The interior is also all original, except for the Hurst shifter, the previous owner removed the clumsy Ford top loader shifter to avoid missing a quick 2 -3 shift and gave that to me along with the original spark plug wires and a few other items.
I found this car in Vineland, NJ with the help of Don White who graciously gave me the contact information of the owner who was selling it. This being my first Shelby I joined the Shelby American Automobile Club, they had warranty informaton on my car when it was new! It had an oil pressure gauge replaced at 1500 mile, fog lamp replaced at 1828 miles, and the original owner complained of lifter noise at around 3000 miles and Grappone Ford replaced the lifters. I was impressed by the thoroughness and detailed information that they retain on these vehicles. I drove this home from Vineland, NJ to my home in PA and it was a blast to drive. It gave new meaning to "Have you driven a Ford lately" I plan on detailing it more and adding the correct E70-15 Goodyear Speedway 350 tires in the near future.

Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.
