Re: For Sale:1969 copo chevelle monaco orange 4 speed
I recall they had a reserve on them, which in that arena really hurts bidding. At least that what BJ group told me. Its scary to put no reserve, but most of the big bidding is for no reserve cars. Even Reggies cars had a reserve and didn't sell if I recall. Ed's car suprised me last year also.

John,
Stock market has been better indicator of car value lately. The same was true in the late 80's during the last "muscle boom". I think that the Motion vette will be a good indicator of where the money is currently. |

Re: For Sale:1969 copo chevelle monaco orange 4 speed
[ QUOTE ]
Last year a documented example (restored also) crossed the block during prime time on friday PM. I looked this car over and it was well done. As I recall the car was no reserve, and sold for about $80K. [/ QUOTE ] A well done COPO Chevelle for 80K? Heck, I could almost afford that... Let's see...sell granny's house out from under her, she don't need no house. Oh, and gimme' your piggy bank old woman! Stop struggling grandma! Okay, now where's the kid's piggy bank...OPEN THAT DOOR AT ONCE! C'mon kid, hand it over, daddy needs a COPO Chevelle! Give me that lollipop too. |
