Lou, look up the Kruse auction results last Jan timeframe, Ft. Lauderdale... there was a drop dead gorgeous red/red car that went for, *I think*, right at 40k, plus or minus some pennies. I was chasing something else, or I would have snagged it. VERY healthy motor. Car was done right, VERY straight body. Should give you a shopping idea..
Jim Haas, (you'll probably remember me from Buick stuff..)

Hi Jim! great to hear from you !Thanks all for your response. I decided to buy it. Can't decide if I should return it to orginal since the parts were encluded in the deal. It has headers, Disc brake convertion & early style American mags.I wonder which way it to be most desireable. I checked all the numbers & they all seem to have the right date code.I'm presently trying to track down what ever info I can. The car was totally restored frame off. Somewhere in calif, I have some digital pics but don't know how to post them. Something I'll have to work on. Since I'm not a car collector & can't afford to have my money tied up. I will be putting it up for sale soon. I estimate its value to be about $42,000 or maybe more.
