Actually, that was just a pic off the net. I was referring to a Roush Stage I or II at a local ford dealership. $31,000.00 did not seem bad for that. I especially liked the rear exhaust like a updated 69 Shelby, right thru the rear bumper.

GTO? Man, that car looks like an impala! At least this car looks somewhat like a stang. My Dad had/has a 67 Stang GTA convert that we inherited when he passed away. I see many similarities(sp).

Kind of like that commercial of that new chevy "playing" ball with the vette. Gm's gotta get off the can! Just my .02.
Anybody see the new charger yet?

Rich

LS1s rule, and LS2s are going to be even better The C6 Z06 will be 500 hp stock. It doesn't need 3 different stages cause it's just bad to start with . Is Ford getting into the ricer theme with the big spoiler and messed up looking bumper? I have seen one 2005 Saleen Mustang and it looked 100 times better than that thing.

Guys I am in the trenches with this car. I have not heard ANYONE (except one guy that I sold a left over 2004 Mustang to....Thank god cause we will die with them!) say that the car was ugly or short on horse power. I will say it again...this is the first car in a long time in the auto industry that people are actually excited about. The car has brought people into our showroom that do not or would not normally own/buy Fords. As far as that GTO, I know the car has already been out for a year but they have $5,000 rebates on them! What does that tell you? As far as a Vette is concerned that is a car that cost MORE THAN DOUBLE this car does. I don't see the Mustang cooling off for at least a couple of years. Ford really scored big here.

Frank, I don't disagree with you one bit.. As far as styling and looks go, I like the new Mustang alot better than the GTO. I still wish they had never named "that" particular car "GTO".. to be honest.. But what is under the sheet metal of that car is quite honestly an awesome car.. Anyone who has really put a new GTO through the paces can testify... I already know first hand the limits of what an '04 LS1 6spd with 350hp can do.. so I can only imagine what the '05 LS2 6spd 400hp GTO must be like with better breathing, exhaust and larger engine.. and revising the flaws of the '04 if they indeed did that.. Granted I haven't drivin one of the new Stangs, but as far as inside the car seat of the pants and all around performance goes.. I don't see how the new Mustang can touch an '05 GTO performance-wise... Only thing I see that really could would be the new Vette or Viper (they still make those??).

He jumped up and down the day they sold their last GTO and SSR and didnt order any more!Im not saying they dont perform well or their not a well built vehicle but the sales just arent happening! By the way he bought his wife that ugly Caddy thing??

HHHeeeeey!
I just bought my wife the new caddy CTS (Made her get the Gertag 5 speed though! I know I will be getting it one of tehse days.). I was unsure about it, now, it's been a few months and I actually enjoy driving it. At under $30,000, it also seems like quite a deal (my note is 5$ a month less than my Durrango note).

When she takes it for a wash or we go out to eat, the guys always freak at the 5speed in a caddy thing.

I just need to figure out how to mate up a ZZ to that gertag once the warranty is out!
