Can't remember the dudes name, i think it's Mike, but the episode that they were test driving the Alumicoupe on the salt flats, he was recanting a story of how last time they were there test driving a car he had crashed it and ended up having head injurys and was hospitalized for some time. Boydd had mentioned that he was in pretty bad shape. Consider that there is'nt much safty equipment in those rods, i did'nt see them installing any seatbelts?

Bill,

Sooo, I need to shoot an email to Foose about a really cool guy in Washington State that wants his car stolen...

I suppose it's worth a try...

Yes it is Mike, he is the machine shop supervisor. I guess that had to do some reconstructive surgery on his face. One bad wreck. I think he mentioned he was driving 100+ mph when the wreck occured.
One thing I don't get. Boyd is always under a timeline to get the cars done for clients, but then you see them for sale at BJ. That 56 Chevy they did was sitting in the shop for weeks after they completed it, and the owner wanted it right away.
I too know that this show is scripted, but I will be watching it again tonight. I am looking forward to see what Boyd's cars bring at BJ. It will be cool to see them in person and to find out what kind of job those employees did on them.

The guy had to have part of his mouth reconstructed from a accident and I don't think he has any movement there.

I love Overhaulin. The only thing I don't care for are the giant pizza cutter wheels they use on every car. Waaay too big. They should go with 17's or 18's but that's just my opinion. I really liked the design of the ones they made for the Challenger. I can't watch the Boyd show too annoying.

When he says "parts" it looks like he's saying "farts." That drove me bats until I heard him describe his accident and subsequent surgery. I like him now that I understand why he says "farts" when he means to say "parts."
