It's really a shame that GM (and others) can't make these big 2-door hardtop models anymore. What a classic design these early '60s Pontiacs were.

very nice GP......I had a 64 Catalina 2+2 421 tri-power 4spd...the engine was built as a Super Duty...very fast..I sold it to a fellow in Sweeden...can't keep them all.

Very cool car. I remember working on one of these in the early 70's. What a blast to drive. Vaguely remember something very odd about those 8 lug wheels. Wasn't the brake drum integrated into the inner part of the wheel? I remember thinking those had to be expensive to replace. I suppose, like almost all else, they are available reproduction?
