And now, something very, very hard to come by, that is a trophy from a SCR. In the past, these were only made available to folks showing supercars and special guests of the reunion. In the past, we have been ask to sell them, but never felt comfortable doing so, but now the folks down South need all the help they can get, so I have decided to let some of them go.

Trophies from SCR2-SCR8 can be bought for $20.00 each, or a set of all eight for $250.00, which will include one from SCR1. There are only TWO sets available, as that is all of the trophies that remain from SCR1.

Tom, this is such a great thing you guys are doing. You can actually see where the money is going instead of sending it to some big outfit. I am sending a check for $100.00 to the sYc tomorrow morning to assist with the hurricane relief.

Thanks for the donation Frank.

The two complete sets of plaques from past SCRs, as well as a set of diecast, are spoken for, thanks Chris and Bill.

It is really fantastic for you guys to be doing this. Just yesterday I printed out flyers and put them in the mailboxes of my neighbors in my subdivision of 100 homes. This morning I woke to find bags of stuff left at my front door. I am then bringing the goods to a local church that has a truck ready to roll. Keep it up!

I'll take a set of 8 Tom.

Oops. Didn't see the earlier post that they were gone. Damn time zone thing. I'll take 2-4 anyway, and if a number 1 shows up I'll take that too....

The supplies purchased with the $$ from SCR8 are headed South. Rob and Anna justed pulled and will be unloading everything at a distribution center in NE Arkansas. Folks in need should have access to the supplies by this evening.

Once they return, plans are to the use additional $$$ received and purchase/deliver a load to a nearby church camp that is being used to house victims of the hurricane.

Also, for the next 30 days, any $$ received for new membership will go towards hurricane relief.

Tom,
Great gesture on the part of the sYc club, it's members and administrators. Thanks also to you and your family members for taking care of the pick-up, delivery and distribution. As noted above, this would also be a great time for people to join. Hard not see where you money is being put to good use in this case.

Hi Tom and all,

Sorry I have not chimed in recently. Just got the family set up in Houston, and have been driving all over south LA working with clients and executing their disaster prep solutions.

I am in Lafayette right now at a customer site, taking a small brake. Little or now sleep, just the super unleaded
starbucks that they are giving away free.

Tom and all, your efforts will be appreciated. In my opinion, the way you are doing it is the best, it will go to those whom need it, not some manager's paycheck.

Please try and reach washington parish (I have no affiliation or family there, all my family is in Jefferson and St. Bernard), they seem to be the worst off right now and people there are still mostly without food and water.

I went into jefferson the other day. I cannot even describe the sights. I did get to pass by the shop, it was looted, but the camaros were still there. Some customers cars were stolen though (I guess that those "old" cars no one wanted).

More Later,

God Bless,

Rich
