Default First ride in a Lemans Blue ' 69 Z/28

Mark Milchak(396L35)was kind enough to let me sandblast my rare Lakewood 2-piece scattershield tonight in his garage. A big thanks goes out for that. After I'm finished, we're standing next to his Leman Blue '69 Z28 and he asks if I've ever rode in one. I say no because I'm used to some pretty fast stuff and 290HP just doesn't sound exciting to me. He grabs his car keys and insists I get in. We go out to the service road and he blasts through all four gears like there's no tomorrow. Anyway, I got to say I was impressed by that little 302. They say an engine is basically an air air pump and I guess what these 302's lack in displacement they make up for it sheer RPM. Thanks Mark and next time: my turn, my car, my expired plates, and my service road!
