Thanks guys. Yeah Joe, I meant cards not cars However, the owner did send along two blue Corvette diecasts for my kids and they were just thrilled with that Here is a pic of the original wheel/tire combo. I am going with a set of those and a set of the '67 style bolt-on aluminum wheels (they don't have the spinner like the earlier ones) with red-lines and will change them up every once in a while since I like both looks. BTW, this is the Jay Kline car that I posted about a few weeks ago.

Thanks Dan. I'll decide about showing it or not once I get it cleaned up. My friend wants me to bring it to the Michigan chapter meet in the Spring and I may do that if I can get a truck and trailer lined up.

Thanks Gary. Norm delivered the car for me. Super nice guy and I would use his services again. Thanks for the recommendation.

Will do Bruce. If the weather is nice this weekend, I'll get it outside for a few better shots. If there is anything in particular someone would like to see, please let me know.

That has to be one of the most beautiful color combinations ever made. The car will look nice with the rally wheels and redlines. I'm one of the few that prefer rally wheels over the very expensive bolt on '67 wheels. The good news is that the value of the (repro) knock-off wheels and tires should get you into a set of rally wheels and repro redlines. Nice new trim rings can be bought for about $100 for four unless you go for the original ones. Those can get pricey.

Very nice, well optioned Corvette. Feel free to post more pictures.

Thanks Tim. I'm one of the few who agree with you and think that the rally wheels look better, and especially with red-lines

Thanks Doug. That's the car I told you about last week. Maybe we can work out a little "trade" one day

I thought the inside of that trailer looked familiar Mark. I'm glad he worked out for you. I wish Norm and I would have had more time to chat. Interesting fellow.

Yeah Gary, he's a very cool guy that has been around the block a few times...

Thanks for the offer Enio, but I really like this one. Might consider doing something on a '67 Z, '70 LS6, '67 L36 Corvette, or a '70 Deuce...their at the top of my Christmas list...but I'd rather buy one outright and keep this car.

Zedder, does the trim ring card you referred to look like this?

I found this in a box of old stuff i bought, and noticed the date was 9-23-66, which is just about the time the rally wheels were first introduced... not sure if there was a revised edition to this card later on, or if they were all printed with the 1966 date on the bottom... I have another original somewhere that i know came out of a 69 Camaro, but i can't find it right now to compare.
