Thanks Bruce..

The art of taking good cars pics has always seemed to elude me so I need all the help I can get. I will check out Fuji. Not too worried about size. My wife is strong if necessary.

Amen Keith. Ever since I bought my Sony Cyber-Shot with 2.5" LCD monitor and 3x optical zoom on 12-23-04 I have had nothing but fun with it. It takes excellent pictures and I dump the ones I don't like and e-mail the good ones to Costco for developing. I also use it in my eBay sales where good photo quality definitely helps sell things.

Canon PowerShot S70 is 7MP Camera and NEW S80 is ??????
I just figured S60 with same guts and lense was PLENTY good at a now discounted price due to newer models, which happens constantly in digital photography......
I did buy a HIGH SPEED 512 Flash Card and a Longer life battery than comes with Camera....I know it increases intial price, but I felt it neccessary if not inperative

Bruce

I agree, I also use a S5100 and after getting use to all the available settings I found it takes killer pictures. Closes thing to a true SLR you can get with paying 900.00+

I agree. You can't beat the mid $300 price either...

Bruce,

About how many pictures can you take with your camera before you have to change batteries? I too am looking for a new camera. My current one (Minolta) eats batteries and takes about 12 pictures before it needs new batteries so I am concerned with battery life as well as good pictures. Thanks.

Spring for the Lithium battery.
Worth the investment. I have 8 NiCad batteries, and they need recharging after about 50-60 flash photos.
The Lith battery from my old camera still works after 2 years, and has never let me down.
