Hi Guys:

Interesting about this car. I just bought a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette MOTION EQUIPPED car. it is an animal 35k car, coupe, converted to a phase III car by the owner in Denver when the car was one month old, originally a 427/435 car, i have window sticker, pop, tank sheet. Car has motion hood and flares, 435 motor came out when car was new, replaced with l-88, currently has ls-7 motor put in around '74. Car is copper with black stinger paint. Has a wild single traction bar connected to pumpkin under car ( called Rosen, this was one of his mods). I'll post a picture when I take some. Just scored hone-o-drive to help out those 4:11s on the highway

Ron sounds like a nice car. Can you start a new thread and post pics of the car and its paperwork in that thread instead of taking away from Larry's quest

Would like to see pics of how the interior was set up along with the rear of the car. Mahalo

I'll apologize now for stealing your thread a little bit. Thought you guys would get a kick out of this.

I occasionally scan this website and just happened to notice the car in question in this topic. Well, my father duplicated that exact car on the front of that magazine cover. One of the nicest setups IMO from back to front. Here's a couple pictures of it. Let me know what you guys think!!

It's Larry's thread you've tapped into....tough to apologize to him now but I don't think he'd mind? .
Aside from a later model year and a few differences including no rear window treatment, Dad's car looks great! .

Thanks for the kind words! I didn't realize the original color was orange, we ended up painting it viper red. I'll get a picture of the motor in a couple days. Car sports a holley 3 barrel, correct air cleaner, correct valve covers, correct emblems, m-22 tranny, traction bar, etc.

Many people come up to my father at car shows and always ask him " Is it real? "

Larry- My dearest apologies!!!

Larry would say no problem.. But he's not with us anymore.

Here is a link to what has transpired since his death on May 18, 2006.

Larry and his cars are also this months feature. Here is a link to that as well. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/show.../page/0#211284

BTW, he'd love that Corvette, no doubt. Nice looking car.

How about starting a new thread on your Dads car when you get some more pics of it.
