Didn't the top Corvette Salesman work there? I beleive that there are some pics of one of the AIR Race cars in the showroom. Gonna have to figure out where they are... also I beleive that Traco was very close to either the dealership or the building where the race cars were campaigned from.

I believe Traco was a few doors down for Dick G's shop in Culver City.

I remember Fred Gledhill Chevrolet being located in Wilmington CA. I remember my Uncle car shopping for a new 1970 Impala coupe there though ended up purchasing from Felix Chevrolet in Los Angelos due the huge inventory they had.

I'm the current owner for the past 12 years of an original, non-restored, 1969 Z/28 RS sold new at Fred Gledhill Chevrolet in Feb., 1969. I've been looking for a set of Gledhill Chevrolet license plate frames to make the car more original yet. Any idea as to how I could acquire a set, or even just one. Thank you for any help.

Cool stuff. My 1st duty station in USN was at Naval Station Long Beach (now closed ). I lived at the "bottom" of the Harbor Freeway in San Pedro. Good times - great place.

Yeah, I've tried e-bay but have never seen a Gledhill Chevrolet license plate frame on there. I'll keep looking.
