Joe,
Those are 7.10-30.5 x 15" 130 compound.

If you're looking for a set of period 14s, I probably have some, and I planned to sell them. I just have to dig them out and see exactly what's there.

They no longer make the ones pictured. Those are '69-'70-'71 vintage. Those brought that kind of money because they are new (old).

Verne. The company that bought M&H Tire from Marvin is currently reproducing the old style 1200x16 slicks for Vintage Dragsters. I talked to the guys who run the Orange 33? Willys called something like"Boss Hydro". He told me he got his M&H's from this company which I believe is down south. I checked the M&H website a while ago and only saw the 1200x16 currently available. Hopefuly they will make them in 15's if were lucky. I thought Marvin still had all the molds for these and possibly sold them to the new owners.

I'd have to agree. There's a possibility that the old molds were saved. But then, there's always the space concern, and back then we were always looking for the next new and better thing, whatever it was. We ALL threw away too much stuff because we "knew" it was useless compared to the better stuff!! It took us all this long to realize that those were the years we want to relive, and have everything just as it was then!

Thats the car I was talking about. It runs a big Hemi on Alky or Nitro. Don't think 35 year old M&H's would be safe on that beast. Saw him run at E-town and Beaver Springs this Summer. He runs the 1200x16 M & H Racemasters that are exactly like the 69-71 era slicks. There out of Marvin's molds. The company is called Interco Tire from Louisiana
www.intercotire.com Click on M&H Drag Slicks and scroll down till you see 1200x16 Nostalgia. Interco says they bought out Marvins M&H Tire co in 2001.
Who wants to call them and ask if they'll make up some 14" and 15" Racemasters?

I'd buy a pair if they looked like the originals posted at the beginning of the thread.
