Is the "9561" on the firewall an original marking, or was it written during the restoration (assuming its a restored car)?

VIVA.......La Cajun COPO

Does this car still have two trim tags? Last seen with a cast iron intake painted aluminum....restored by a Lou D. in 2002..15" steel rims painted like an XT...It's a CLONE.....Drive it and enjoy it...I don't believe it was ever sold for COPO money....75 to 90k every time I ever saw it listed....Nice car..IMHO

In my original post i stated that it was bought as a clone and my mind set after the purchase. I do not intend to sell the car unless my "imagination" is real. I am a learner in this and as my profile in clubcobra says "too many cars to remember, just poor white trash with money"

I cannot be more honest than that. The whole story has been given. Maybe I should have been more of a BS artist when I made my post. I thought this site may have been a little more indulgent since it is so highly rated from sources thatI asked. I have over 20 cars in my collection and change them often. I just asked a simple plea to end my crazy imagination. By the way, on surfing the site, I see that your big meeting is happening at Gateway... why not ask Tim Giger or Dan Harman about me. If I was phoney, why would I give my whole name?

I don't hide anything but asked for knowledge which I lack,,,if this is a problem in your eyes, disregard these posts and let the truth come out.

I was not questioning your morals, just asking a few questions. While these bulletin boards are great for meeting people and exchanging info, it is sometimes hard to understand the tone of the people you are talking to. I did not mean any disrespect or to question your integrity.

If my memory is correct...It does not have a 512 block as well...All 69's had a heater..Very little history before the resto....lots of stuff after...Make's ya wonder..Someone flipped it again eh....

Ps. my notes show E159 as the date code

Please explain a 512 block. also if all 69s had a heater why are several nos sellers offering a 69 heater delete 3 piece part nos? As for flipping... all I know is that I paid a reasonable amount for the car...much less than stated above and is within limits of my collection however modest for 27 cars to date...even though many are clones or replicas such as a 32 Auburn model 866 or my cobra replica.

So here is another puzzler. If i have another fully documented copo body, tags intact and restore it,,,place the correct drive train in it, is it going to bring copo money? Numbers matching during those years leave much to the imagination.

512 is the last three digits of the block casting number.....Delete set ups were sold over the counter and for export use only....also(I believe) for our 50th state..Per federal law in 1969 which required a defroster.

Please explain "fully documented COPO body" .....Nothing to imagine...It is or it ain't.....I'm reluctant to describe little things that constitute a COPO....I don't want to help create one..I'm lead to believe more things have been modified on this car as time has gone by.....

Hawaii and Alaska could have heater deletes in 69. But Alaska without a heater.... that takes balls!

I'd like to see the '9561' on the firewall - that should be the first clone clue, just to see how/where it's written.
