I guess alcohol can be considerd a drug since it is a stimulant..but then it can also be a depressant....and yes it can be abused just like illegal drugs....the big difference is that young people aren't having turf wars and gun battles over alcohol..!!! Illegal narcotics are the single biggest cause of violence in this country and the gov't seems helpless to deal with it....and for what it's worth..the same thing happened with booze in the 1920's....the gang warfare in those days was over the bootlegging and smuggling of beer and whiskey. There is a whole culture in this country built around drugs and violence and it is glorified in the gangsta type music that pollutes our young people...call me old fashioned, but drugs are wrong.......why do you think they call it dope..??

Regardless of what you think about the comments,its sad that neither will acknowledge nor care that Imus raised over 40,000,000 dollars for kids with cancer over the past 17 years. They probably never gave it a second thought,nor care that by getting rid of Imus really means that sick children will not be getting the money thats been raised through his radiothon the past 2 decades.
