You can use the wheel cleaner and then wash with dishwashing liquid while scrubbing with fine steel wool or a green scotch brite pad. It gives it a sheen similar to what they had before blasting.

I like alumi blast paint made by Seymour Paints.. If you look really close you can tell the part was painted but I think it is pretty close to the original finish plus it will protect the part. Plus if there is a stain it will cover nicely. I have used it on aluminum intake manifolds and it has held up very well...
