This Picture was taken from the "Very" end of the track at the Last turnoff.....Amazing......there wasn't a empty parking space in the pits except for the open spot on the end that you can see......Later that was filled also and when I left around 5:00, there were a couple of tractor trailer rigs trying to get in...but there wasn't any spaces left........It's amazing, with the weather and all that.....The amount of Cars that show up.......I do have to say that the Improvements to the property were very noticeable......Concrete Barriers down the track, New Stands, WashRooms Painted and remodeled, and a Zamboni Type Track Cleaner that was put into use after a Trans Explosion right on the Starting line....It made short work of the cleanup......Pic's to Follow.........More

Finally.......Qualifying

Only for a few minutes though.......Plymouth Spit the Trans out Right on the Line......had a fire going on underneath the car , but it was put out Immediately.....Great Starting Line Crew...

Track Cleaner in Action......It vacuums the Track, Sprays a Cleaning Solvent, Squeegees in up, and has a row of torches across the back to Burn Off any residual oils and dry the track.......Pretty Cool...

In a Short Time the Qualifying started again

Lot's of "Different" hairstyles.........LOL

Looks like there are a lot of awesome cars there. What are the rules of this "shootout"? What do these cars have to do to be concidered street cars?

Chuck Samuels took over #1 with a 6.54

Then Vinnie Bundano came along and ran a 6.42 for the #1 spot.....Ran like it was on a string

Spiro Pappas......Got loose off the line and had to shut it down

How's this Hairdo.....LOL

Probably not going to go to the Track Tomorrow as she has plans.....so Mike will have to pick it up from here....As I remember there was a couple of 10 1/2" cars in the 6's.......A couple of Heavy street cars were in the 7's
The "Magic" behind the Success of Orlando is the Simplicity of the Rules......Weight (dependant upon Power Adders) and Tire Size.......4 Classes.......Simple and Successful.........If you got it....."Bring It".....Last Man Standing Wins.........
