...nope...there are other subtle differences as well, but overall a pretty accurate car...

A very nice clone of probably the ultimate 69 Camaro Dealer Supercar in existence.

![]() Here is a picture I took of the BM car at Medowbrook Hall car show back in the 90's Otis Chandler had it there along with a 69 T/A drop top , Yenko SC Nova (you can see the hood up across the ring) also a Hemi Daytona and a Hemi Challanger drop top .When I find the pics I will try to post them. Also the guy standing with the cleaner said that the miirors are off a Mustang because Chevy had no sport mirrors to install

I remember when Tom Johnson sold the real car in Houston at the auction at Autorama. I loved it and what a beast it was. The concrete vibrated when he started it up to move it. I had dad bidding on it but his limit was 25K. I remember Otis picking it up for about 28K. I still have a picture of it from the auction at the lake house and will try to scan it in and post it this weekend.
It looks like a nice tribute car for a reasonable price. I remember the hitch mounts on the front being black though as opposed to his description of chrome.

When I approached the Yenko, Otis was keeling down detailing the wheels. I introduced myself and told him how I had been admiring his collection, especially a particular 71 Hemi Cuda Convertible. He then invited me "over the ropes" where he proceeded to give me a personal tour of the Baldwin Motion car, the Yenko and the T/A. I have pictures that I will have to dig up that I shot of him and the cars. A real gentleman and a memory I will never forget. BA |

In fact, if you look in the background, you can see Otis behind the Camaro wearing a denim shirt.

Yes, Mr. Chandler was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He very much loved the history and beauty of American automobiles. He is very much missed. He would often attend the Oldsmobile Nationals with his beautiful ebony black and gold 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 convertible. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos of such a historic car.
