I am getting ready for the body transport/chassis transport/swap.

A bit of feedback has me thinking I should use two slings at each end to prevent the body from rolling to one side.

Closer and closer.

A new friend from London will be joining us on Saturday, thanks Shane P:-)

Heres what my rotisserie looked like for my camaro body. There was a square tube that rtan from end to end to stabilize each end that rotated. I dont see this in your plan.

Thanks Jonesy, I will check for this support when I get a look at the rotisserie.

I have seen them with the single support in the middle or one on each side.

Excited now!!!!

Ryan one thing to think about is the greater the angle of your slings or chains, the more force you are putting on your mounting points and slings or chains. These forces can be calculated.

Agree, I exceeded a normal minimum angle lifting the body off, and plan to use two slings longer than the one I used to correct this.

Thanks for chiming in, I like feedback:-)

I got some preparations done tonight for the move.

I had a couple tires mounted on rims to make the frame semi roller. (Rear at least) I put them on and boy do they look good:-) Don't hate me, these are Roller white wall radials to get me going as I have scratched bias ply tires off the budget until the car is on the road for one summer.

I removed the drain plugs from the trunk and made a spreader bar for lifting the rear of the car, I have seen this done by a few knowledgeable guys and I wanted a better way to lift and lower the rear.

Super excited to get moved:-)
