A little boy was the sole survivor from the DC-8. Those were the days when the new jets would descend for landing at high speeds below 10,000 feet (speed limit below 10 now is 250 knots) and I think the DC-8 ran over the top of the Constellation, also approaching Idlewild (now Kennedy) for landing.

Also, look at the grills, it has the standard Charger nose, not the swapped-in Coronet grill. It's like cavemen and dinosaurs...they were not on the same planet at the same time. ![]() |
