That’s me riding shotgun around 1981 in the hills of Danville, Ca.

It felt like I was riding in a large “aluminum” can with massive horsepower.
Also very warm inside that monster.

He also had a 289 cobra in the garage.

Chris, that is a gorgeous car, what great pictures. It looks like it has the Starburst wheels on it due to the overhang of the fenders.

I think these wheels were called “Sunburst” as I have an old Chevron ad using a 427 Cobra.

Gorgeous Halibrand Sunburst pin-drive wheels.
