Re: 69 Trans Am Convertible at Mecum, VALUE?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Don't know the value of the car, but it will be showing up in the next Muscle Car Review. Had a great time working with Robert, VERY impressive collection. [/ QUOTE ] My issue arrived the other day Arvid. Haven't read through it yet, but I saw a picture of a wild burnout from this car [/ QUOTE ] Isn't that what our cars were made for ? Honestly, I was a bit surprised myself, but a burnout pic is always a plus. |

Re: 69 Trans Am Convertible at Mecum, VALUE?
There are three '69 Trans Am hardtops at this auction as well.
A lot of cool junk there. |

Re: 69 Trans Am Convertible at Mecum, VALUE?
if one finds a D80 on a 69 firebird convert cowl tag, does it have to be one of these cars?

Re: 69 Trans Am Convertible at Mecum, VALUE?
I believe a D80 would have to be a T/A. All eight 1969 T/A convertibles are known however so, you won't find one in a barn. Ed

Re: 69 Trans Am Convertible at Mecum, VALUE?
Well as I suspected, Robert's 1969 TA convert was a no sale at 1.1 million....kinda glad to see him keep it. He sure has a great collection of very rare Pontiacs.
