Re: GM Nationals @ Carlisle
Here are a few various pics of the Carlisle fairgrounds. My camera batteries need recharging so I only downloaded a few for now. BTW the weather couldn't have been nicer which is rare for the GM Nationals.

Re: GM Nationals @ Carlisle
That car is a very rare Fremont built L78 Chevelle with smog I think there were less than 35 L78 smog coded chevelle motors built in 67. That car resides in Pa.

----Steve,,,Looks like another great presentation! Always happy to see my old black L89 El Camino. Thats one of the few cars my wife ever got mad at me for selling. Wish I could roll back the years just a bit....Bill S

Re: GM Nationals @ Carlisle
I was not going to attend this show, but on Sat I arrived at 8:00 A.M. and left at 10:30 A.M. Attached are some pictures that I took on Sat morning of the car corral area and the show field near the car corral that used to be filled with cars. Also there is a picture of building Y that used to be filled with exceptional cars as well as the outside of the building as it sits nearly empty now. I talked to a friend who was selling parts on Friday and he said D&R one of the sponsors of this site left on Friday evening. I happened to see Bill M riding around on his golf cart and I'm sure he was not satisfied with attendance at the gate. If it would not be for the SLS this show is not worth going to IMO. Carlisle management also made a change this year to make all the food vendors use cash registers and keep track of all receipts so they can take 20% of there take. Carter Food Concession's one of the largest food vendor's who has been there for probably every show since they started decided to not attend anymore and I am sure there are others. If anyone thinks this GM show is an improvement since the ACA left please let us all know.
