the hood tach may have been on the original hood and the stinger hood may have been added later as the hood is not listed.
I know that Joe brought the car back to Motion for upgrades over the years as new parts became available. That Chevelle has a great long Motion history and a lot of paper |

Where there TWO Burnished Brown '69 Chevelle Motion cars? I have a friend that bought a BB '69 Chevelle Motion (he said it was advertised as a Phase lll) from the Grant Miller Auction (Central Penn.) and sold it at this year's Mecum Kissimmee (if I remember correctly). Something is telling me THAT car didn't have a vinyl roof. I'm not 100% sure of the price he paid (although I'm 99% sure) and would rather NOT mention that here. I know he did very well money-wise and some of the people thought he was "NUTS" for paying what he did----I told him he swiped it. I wanna say Hemmings had an ad for the car as one of the featured car for the Mecum auction. Did anybody attend either one of those auctions? I did not. Also, I wanna say that the car was represented as having been owned by the last owner for a while. I can call my buddy and confirm some stuff, but the money aspect I'd rather not comment on. I threw away the Hemmings, but I'm sure someone here will still have the issue containing the ad.

I know my buddy bought the car from Grant Miller's auction, and as far as I know, (heard it right from him), he sold the car at Kissimmee---the results show it as a "No Sale" at $200K, so it must have sold after it crossed the block. I stand corrected on the vinyl top.
