It gets better.Round 2 was 3 years later.Plenty of time for the Mopar guys to find the right car and driver. The Mopar guys won that one.

Round 3 was in Canada.Everyone was pumped for this tie breaker. The Mopar guys were not taking any chances and brought out the famed Hemicuda. The Diablo brothers brought their yellow GSX.I had seen the Diablo GSX run at the GSNats. This is one bad ass Buick. The lights came down and the Hemi gets nervous and cuts a red light giving him a major head start. The Buick still passed the Hemi at mid track! The Hemi realized he was outgunned and wanted no part of race 2 or 3.He drove right up on the trailer and took off, never to be seen again.

I've seen a lot of that. Plus, whenever the competition gets into the lead, they just let off and pretend they weren't even racing. Just like little kids on the playground.

Sold my last Mopar years ago, but I see the Mopar "victim" mentality is alive and well...

.... and this dynamic played out again and again at the PSMCDR's for years. Then the firm of Clary, Johnson, Pennington and Simpson took the class the school!

Don't forget Wayne Nelson. He showed the potential of L88 Corvettes when everyone else couldn't see it.
