"Cool" or not, there is no way to I believe these are legit. Chris is a good guy and I hate to see him get burned. They look to me like old light up sign fixtures with new "aged" logos added to them. I have many period photos of the dealership, and while they admitedly don't cover every square inch of the place I have never seen nor heard of either of these signs ever existing...not to mention the other oddities about the context of the wording noted earlier.

There are still ex-Yenko employees around who would definitely recall these (or any other) signs being there...Warren D. comes to mind... I would be tracking him down (or any other ex-employees) and asking, but I can already guess what the answer will be.

Joe I agree Chris is a first rate guy, BUT that does not give people the right to sell these signs as legit. I have been in the old Yenko Canonsburg store, the McMurray store and even Yenko Honda and other buildings. I was given access to Dons personal office, the storage buildings, and even the attics at Canonsburg looking for treasures, and there were lots of very neat items. I NEVER EVER saw a light up Yenko sign. This was in the days when most people could care less about Yenko cars let alone the memorabilia. IMO these are nothing more than a novelty item, but the seller made some grey claims about Canonsburg etc. I would hang them in may place but not as original memorabilia. Ebay is full of BS items and sellers. I have seen more Yenko crap on ebay than I care to see. Real Yenko items like a lighted sign with heritage would command high bucks. Seeing two signs like these hit the bay in one week is extremely unlikely. Sorry if I am stepping out of bounds here, and if Chris is happy with them so be it. ..BKH
